What Are We Reading This Month?

Read along with us! Non-yoga books are mostly what I read (probably should read more yoga books!), so why not join me!

October Book

"Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng. **I normally don't read the back of the book, so if you're like me and want to be surprised, don't read below!

**From the bestselling author of Everything I Never Told You, a riveting novel that traces the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and the enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. Little Fires Everywhere explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, and the ferocious pull of motherhood--and the danger of believing that following the rules can avert disaster.

November Book

"The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.
Reading this book almost a year ago, I figured it's time to read it again! I absolutely loved this book (even though it was hard to get into in the beginning), and I promise you will love it too!

This story, dazzling in its powerful simplicity and soul-stirring wisdom, is about an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure buried near the Pyramids. Along the way he meets a Gypsy woman, a man who calls himself king, and an alchemist, all of whom point Santiago in the direction of his quest. No one knows what the treasure is, or if Santiago will be able to surmount the obstacles in his path. But what starts out as a journey to find worldly goods turns into a discovery of the treasure found within. Lush, evocative, and deeply humane, the story of Santiago is an eternal testament to the transforming power of our dreams and the importance of listening to our hearts.
